Privacy

CV Tayyar is built so that your resume stays with you. This page describes what the site, as currently built, does with your information.

What you type

The builder runs in your browser. What you type into it is not sent to us or to anyone else: the page makes no network requests with your content, and there is no account or upload.

What is stored in your browser

The site uses one item of your browser's local storage, and only if you turn on Keep a draft in this browser in the builder:

Browser storage used by CV Tayyar
KeyWhat it holdsWhen
resume-builder-draft-v1Your resume draft: everything you typed into the builder, plus your chosen template, colour and section order.Only while "Keep a draft in this browser" is on. Turning it off deletes the draft.

The draft stays on this device, in this browser, until you delete it. Anyone else who uses this browser could open it, so avoid the draft option on a shared or public computer.

Delete the saved draft

This needs JavaScript to check your browser.

You can also clear it through your browser's settings for site data.

What we do not use

No analytics, no advertising, no cookies and no third-party scripts, fonts or images are active on this site. If that ever changes, this page will be updated in the same release.

Server logs

Once the site is hosted, the web server keeps standard access logs, such as the IP address, date and time, page requested and browser type, to operate and secure the site. These logs never contain what you type in the builder.

Links to other sites

Pages link to sources such as government and university websites. Those are separate sites with their own privacy policies.
